Surgerix develops next-generation visualization software that combines live video from surgical cameras into a single real-time view. The patent-pending technology improves visual clarity and spatial understanding in demanding neurosurgery and ear, nose and throat procedures, reducing the risk of complications and helping surgeons operate with greater focus and efficiency. A Kuopio-based spin-off built on research from the University of Eastern Finland and Kuopio University Hospital, the company is advancing towards a validated software-as-a-medical-device platform and was selected to the MedTech Innovator accelerator in 2026.
